To be considered, please fill out the application below and you MUST be able to attend our November board meeting, on Monday, November 13th.
Board members are selected to serve a two-year term.
You must serve a minimum of one year before being considered for an officer position.

FAQs
How often do you meet?
The Druid City Pride Board generally meets once a month for 1.5-2 hours. In the months leading up to Pride Week, the Board will meet twice a month in August and September for 1.5-2 hours.
Am I required to attend each meeting?
Generally yes, but we understand work and family situations occur. If absences become a problem, we would need to work toward a solution.
Events?
Generally, we host 1 fundraising event per quarter and 1 gathering event per month June includes additional Pride Month-related events such as Pride Festivals across the state and additional gathering events. Pride Week historically includes an event each day leading up to our Druid City Pride Festival.
Additional work?
From time to time, we will need to meet to prep for an event or manage project work action items. While not everyone is always present for these moments, it is expected that we all carry the DCP load as a team.
Overall time commitment?
Overall- 10-12 hours per month, with heavier times during June and Druid City Pride Week.
How long is my Board commitment?
Board members are selected to serve a two-year term. Each member may serve four, two-year terms before they have to roll off of the Board.
Can I serve as an Executive Officer?
You must serve on the board for one full year before being considered for an Executive Officer position.
How else can I support?
Attend events, volunteer for the Pride Festival, donate, like/share our social media posts, connect with our Ally Business Circle members, and promote inclusivity.
